Osteopathy is a patient-centred system of health care. Osteopaths have a well-deserved reputation for expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide-range of musculoskeletal conditions, such as low back, neck, joint, muscle and arthritic pain.
Osteopaths take a holistic approach to patient treatment and care. Osteopaths use a combination of soft tissue mobilisation, stretching, articulation and manipulation directed at the patients muscles and joints to relieve pain, improve function, restore normal movement and assist in recovery.
Osteopaths believe that the body has an innate natural ability to heal itself and that their role is to support and ease this process in order to reinstate optimal health and well-being.

Musculoskeletal conditions may require more than one visit before your problem is resolved. Often musculoskeletal conditions require some additional self-care, including gentle exercise or rehabilitation. We can provide this care and sign-post you to appropriate self-care strategies and resources.
